Sgraffito Brush Topcoat – clay fortified heavy lime paint

Specially formulated topcoat for the “Lace Sgraffito” method of sgraffito fresco applications. Stir thoroughly and apply preferably on a same day with bristle brush over fully set, Sgraffito Grip & Base or Sgraffito Sand Setting Intonaco. Carve when set on the same day as applied. Can be thinned with water to desired consistency.
Tip: If you have managed to make it too wet – let it sit in sealed container, then pour out access water.

This Sgraffito Brush Topcoat is designed for lace-like 2 tone sgraffito applications and although can be colored with brush is not formulated to accept paint as full buon fresco. Made to order – have limited shelf life – clay will set hard if not used within 2-3 weeks. Keep periodically steering if not using.
