Description
Custom Built Birch Panel for Fresco Painting and Sgraffito – 12″x 16″ (1/4 birch plywood, 3″ deep) available as:
Single Base – Colored sgraffito grip and base applied over primed wooden surface
Double Base – Colored sgraffito grip and base applied over Gray plasterGrip Mix on primed wooden panel.
Ready for Arriccio-Intonaco or Roman Marmorino for fresco painting (classic gray base) and Sgraffito (all colors) application.
NOTE: Since base plaster layer is rather thin and in combination with final (painting/carving) layer should be about 3/8″ – Expect prolonged setting times on single based panels .
*Fresco Sgraffito Plaster Setting Time – time to wait between application of the final painting/carving plaster layer and beginning of the painting/carving work (shorter setting times would matter more for fresco painting).
