Description

Sgraffito Sand Setting Intonaco Plaster Mix Kit is an unmixed ingredients kit for Sgraffito Sand Setting Intonaco plaster coat. Kit includes a 1 gallon bucket with lid, washed river sand (1900ml by volume) and 2 (500ml) containers with colonial lime putty to mix into 4 kg of Sgraffito Sand Setting Intonaco.

This kit is designed as part of our Sgraffito Fresco Workshop Tools & Materials Kit or Advanced Fresco Plaster Workshop Tools & Materials Kit. It has an infinite shelf life until mixed. Sand based premixed plasters (arriccio and intonaco) must be used within a few weeks. For large projects we suggest you buy our Aged Fresco Lime Putty and source river sand (read about sand) locally or purchase our premixed arriccio or intonaco plaster.

Brief How To: Mix all ingredients (sand and both containers of lime) in the provided bucket or mix 1/2 of each – 1/2 of sand plus 1 container of lime putty. Some regular water can be added if the resulting mix is too stiff. Use all mixed within a week, keep in sealed container.
