A Very Special Item.
These beautiful glass mullers hand-made in Italy by Empoli\’s craftsman during a process of Murrina (Murano\’s) work. Craftsmen immerse the fine crystal mullers in a special hot oil bath for extra hardening. Very beautyful to see. Mullers are used for grinding colours into water in preparation for fresco painting. Muller size is 4 inches in diameter at the base, and appox. six inches tall.

This glass muller is one of the largest mullers produced and will grind pigments to the perfect size for fresco, in addition to other paint mediums. It is the perfect addition to your artists tool kit.
