These authentic fresco brushes are made with fine natural hog bristle, long wooden handles with string tied ferrules – the only suitable materials capable to withstand alkaline action of the lime intonaco. Dedicated craftsmen, following the centuries old tradition and technique, are handcrafting these fresco brushes in Italy. We import them directly from Florence.
