It is intended for “practice” purposes only. It has a similar feel and working characteristic as our pure lime putties, but, at a greatly reduced price.
We do not recommend using this Practice Lime for your important artworks. It has been specifically designed for the beginner, who wants to get the feel of buon fresco before moving up to the more traditional materials.
Practice Lime is packaged DRY (Lime Powder – dry calcium hydroxide) in 5 gallon buckets.
You will need to mix it into the putty following instructions in the following video:
